The BUSHIDŌ SKIN Spats are designed as the perfect match to our Bushidō Skin rash guard, blending Japanese artistry with grappling performance. Built on a beige base with sleek black panels, these spats feature flowing ukiyo-e wave patterns across the lower legs, accented by bold black kanji vertically stacked along the thigh. A subtle red hanko seal and distressed sun-inspired details tie the look together, echoing the spirit of the samurai.
Made with premium compression fabric, reinforced flatlock stitching, and four-way stretch, these spats deliver durability, comfort, and muscle support whether you’re rolling no-gi, wearing them under your gi, or training hard in the gym.
Bushidō isn’t just a way, it’s how you move on the mats.

Grapple Guard spats have that perfect mix of durability and comfort.
I wore these for leg-intensive drills today, and my knees didn’t feel crushed the next morning. I was surprised how much the compression actually helped.
You can get spats for $10 online, but they never last. Grapple Guard costs more, but mine are still solid after weeks of rolling.
After rolling hours at the risk of mat abrasion, I expected red spots, but inside the fabric felt gentle and soft, and didn’t rub me raw at all. It's a big difference for me.
